Coolest during last night 47, warmest today 60.FOX GETS (TIICKENS.Frank Richter, Owner of Jimmy Gets Bill For Four Chickens Killed.Frank Richter’s pet fox Jimmy which he received last week has fourchickens in this town to his credit in the short while he has sojourned in town. His inclination to remain is forced as his domain now embraces the circumference achieved at the end of a 20 foot chain. Tuesday morningFrar^c was peacefully dozing when he hear‘d a yell, “Get the fox” outside his place. He investigated and at last discovered Mr. Fox going down the street. By the time he got around the corner the fox had three of the four chickens under the weather and put the finishing touches to the last just as he arrived. He disappeared under the barn and it was only after much coaxing that Jimmy came to Frank and was taken back to his pen. Upon investigation it was found that a window in his pen had been left open during the night and the fox which was lightly fastened with a wire managed to twist loose and departed. The fox got \ the chicken and Frank got the bill. He is satisfied as he thinks Reynard is worth it.
