Sentenced to Be Hanged.John Lancaster, a young white man arrested two weeks ago in Jefferson county for the murder of W. \Y. Edwards, near Clinton, has been convicted of murder in the second degree and sentenced to be hanged December 3. Dinoaster admitted killing Edwards, and went on the stand and told all about how they had been enemies and the causes why he killed him; how he went to where Edwards was at work and lay in wait, his reason being that Edwards had talked about his mother.
