MRS. MARRY RYAN Mrs Mary Ryan, who passed away at her home, 213 Penney avenue, McKeesport, on Saturday evening, Supt. toch, at Sao o'clock, was an old and beightly esteemed resident of that city. Death was due to heart trouble, from which she had suffered for a lone time. Mrs. Ryan was born in Wittsbursh om le cember SH, PS25, and consequently was in her 77th year. She was th daugter of Michael and Rose McClosky, a prominent family of this city, her father having been a business man and one of Lue decemoratess of St. Mary's v, Pittsburgh. She et James FF. Ryan of MekKees port, in 1S52, and immediately took up her residence there, her husband having settled there five years previously. Major Ryan died April 29, PSSI, universally regretted, he Was a gallant soldier during the civil war and served with the famous Sixty-third Pennsylvania volunteers. He was a brother of Bishop Ryan, of Buffalo, and was one of McKeesport’s mmost influential and promising citizens. He had served two or three terms as burgess of the town before McKeesport Was Incorporated as apely. Mrs. Ryan was a rest kindly woman and indulgent mother. Her charities though not of the abrusive kind, were most generous, and many will miss her kindly ministrations. Although a long sufferer from the ailment which caused her death, her end came peacefully, befitting her noble life. Just before dissolution she passed into unconsciousness Gaul peacefully slept away. Her children were at her bed side when she died, except her son, William J., Who is serving with the United States marines in China. Mrs. Nyan is survived by three sons and two dougsters. They are Martin FL, Stephen J.., William Jo. Rose and Alice Ryan. Two children, Maggie and Ii tie, are dead. Miss Margaret McClosky, a sister of Mrs. Ryan and her only living rel ative, except her children, who maide her home with Mrs. Ryan, also survives. The funeral took place Tuesday morning, Get. 2d, at 9 owlock from St. Veter’s church.,
