Unfortunately bad weather set in Thursday which was quite a drawback and yet a big crowd was ill attendance. The balloon, while being inflated Thursday burnt open at the top which deprived many of seeing the ascension and parachute leap. The Chinese fire works were fine and greatly enjoyed. The show ring was the center of attraction and the stock, exhibited for premiums was exceedingly fine. We close our columns Thursday evening, and can say we are ivcll pleased with the exhibit and while we have Ijoon compelled to leave out much that would be of interest to our people, which will be noted week, we congratulate the management, and especially the See.J. H.Stu ben ranch is entitled to much credit for the good and profitable fair of 1891.Thursday and Friday the public schools were dfsmissed and teachers and scholars enjoyed those days as precious holidays which were profitable to them in many ways.
