Mrs. Helen M. Davis, wife of our former townsman, YV\ Ellery Djivis, (liv'd nt ITur-hellsville Tuesday evening- An operation was performed upon her several days ago,and her strength was not sutlkient to with-•stand the effect of it. jhe was well known in Jh-lniont, having spent several years of her euily life here, when - her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Ilawson, were residents of the town. She leaves a lyother, brother and si---tors, and husband and son to mourn her death, while a large circle of friends will deeply sympathize v.itli the nlilicted funnl)’. She was buried at Iloruellsville. Mrs. D. IT. Drudiey and Mrs. John Leiious attended the funeral.
