The committee consisted of A. J. Alexander, A. L. Buy and Eli llamy. Of bulls over three years old there were two entries, Tho first premium was awarded to A. II. Nod's 4lt; Duke of Fitjcttc.” These bulls are both splendid animals and nearly of tho some ago. 44 Pilot ” was four years otd in February last, and the Duke of Fayette” is about a month younger,Qf balls one year old and under two, there wore three entries. The committee was the same* except thatWm. Colon took the place of Eli Haney, The first premium was awarded to Adam Smith's magnificent red bull 44 Duke of Swansea/’ and entered by Eli Harvey; the second premium to C, W. Meharry, on his fine roan bull.A. II. Ilanley's splendid roan calf “Hector” was the only entry for the premium on bull calves under one year.Wm, Noel’s cow Erably” received the first premium on cows over three year* ©Id; and A. II.
