SULPHUR — (Special)—John Henry Runyan, 74, 1600 West Broadway, died Wednesday at the DeLay hospital. Mr. Runyan was born in 1878 in Arkansas. He came to Johnston county, Oklahoma, in 1901, mov ing to Murray county in 1908. He was a member of the Baptist church. Services were in the First Bap tist church of Sulphur Thursday. Rev. Jim House officiating. Bur ial was in Drake cemetery with Dunn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Bertie Runyan: two daughters, Mrs. Essie Puckett and Mrs. Ves sie Williams of Sulphur; sons, L. L. Runyan of Sulphur, W. B. Run yan of Hickory, T. D. Runyan of Sulphur, Vince Runyan of Byars, Hoyt Runyan of Ardmore: 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
