BOYCOTT SCHtEER BROS.American Legion Takes Drastic Steps ' Against Their Firm.The Roscoe Enloe Post of the American Legion last night took/drastic steps against Sehleer Brothers .for their unpatriotic utterances and adopted resolutions boycotting the firm. The resolutions without the preamble follows:, Now; therefore, be it resolved, by.-Roseoe Enloe Post No. 5, that we con-demn such - language and such' sentiments; so- expressed -as not represent-' ihg one hundred per cent American ism, but ho Americanism whatever, and as not in harmony with the great; principles for Avhieli this organization stands. •/' Be it further resolved, that the members of any business .firm in this or any American city, guilty of such unpatriotic utterances, are unworthy of our patronage or that of any other patriotic American, and Be it further resolved, that*we, as. members of the American- Legion, not because of* any resentment on account of the refusal of this firm to decorate their store front • on the day of the Home Coming celebration,. but solely on account of the unpatriotic sentiments ; expressed, do hereby pledge ourselves, arid jnvite all other true one hundred per cent Americans to refuse said firm of Sehleer Bros. Hardware Store of any further patronage or good will for an indefinite period of time. : . ■ • r • •
