The defense once again led by Joe Thornton, Matt Sukel, Josh Regan and Vincent Jison provided a Qreen Curtain in front of Goalie Jared Feldman who in two games has only had a4 shots on goal in the first half. Twice in wei) choreographed rushes, Jared BAde and Brandon Carroll drove the ball deep into the enemy territory. Setting up Stratton Palmer who passed to Jake Wallwork who used the big left foot to punch the ball in. In the second hail the Peppers came back scoring two goals. Outstanding defense by Matt Sukel (3 disruptions). Joe Thornton (3 disruptions), Vincent Jison (2 disruptions ) and huge goal tending by Connor Pontiakos frustrated repeated rushes. Then the Piranha offense turned up the heat. Led by Michnock, Regan, Hade and Corrente the halfback core took control of the game. Aggressive attacks fueled by Cunningham, Wallwork, Feldman and Beiter just overwhelmed the opposition. This gave Cunningham the time to run the offense With Brandon Carroll haunting the defense and the rest of the front line just playing superbly Stratton Palmer sliced through the zone to blast a big goal through in the third period to win the game.
