Tryon Edwards Services in tribute to the memory of John W. Burgess, of Canyon, will be conducted in the First Presby terian Church there Monday after noon at 3 o'clock. Officiating will be Rev. Murry, Charles Harter, J. W. Rice Crery, John A. Gillis and J. B Leslie. Mr. Burgess, who was an of Amarillo Army Air Field, died an Amarillo hospital Priday morn ing. He was 87 years old, had rec ded in Canyon five years, and eanly lived in Swisher County years. Survivors include his wife, four sons, two daughters, three brothers, two sisters and his mother. Burial will be in Dreamland Ceme tery under the direction of Griggs- Warren Funeral Home.
