HIGH SCHOOL WINS SEASON OPENER AT PINKERTON Robert Connor, who eluded a score of touchdown. Exeter threatened the Red and White goal line several mes during the game, but Pinkerton re fused to give ground. Exeter carried the ball deep into on the seven-yard line in the last quarter, but Pinkerton held there and whole show for Exeter. They com pleted several difficult passes and al ternpted in carrying the ball deep in the shadow of Pinkerton’s goal posts. Harold “Red” Gurley, diminutive and again for Pinkerton’s gains and spilled the Exeter ball carriers with precision.
