John B. Cluley, former teacher of drawing and manual training in our State Normal college, basket ball coach of the ungraded room, and the college, came to us in September, 1913. He is a graduate of the Central Michigan State Normal school and of the University of Wisconsin.He applied for admission into the second training camp for officers, passed his esaminations, and was the only one from Beaverhead county selected to go into training. This was certainly owing to three things: his splendid physique, the fact that he had been an instructor, and his age. He is now at Presidio, where he hopes to secure a commission. He will certainly be missed; but we arc proud when one connected with the college is so willing and so able to help when our country calls.
