The Englewood high school drawing department took two second prizes at the Illinois state fair. One was a group of free-hand, water-color paintings of the third and fourth year work by Anna Andalman, Marcelite Avery, Sylvanus Sohneberger and Harriet Lee. The other was a group of water-color maps for ancient history by Florence Gieseke, Henrietta Kunzler, Florence Clark, Jane Flaws and Grace Wills.
