It will be but a few hours until the world will know'whether twelve men of Hendricks county believe that William E. Hinshaw shot his wife to death. The feeling is growing stronger that there will be an acquittal, but the belief in this community that Hinshaw killed his wife has not lessened. The case presented by the state, in the opinion of many who believe Hinshaw a murderer, was not so strong as was expected. Then the attorneys for the defense have made very .strong arguments, and have 'lained jerv many ofof the pillow m his speech and succeeded in showing that it would have been impossible for Mrs. Hinshaw to have laid in the same position for several minutes after the shooting, as the state olaims she did, without the pillow becoming saturated with blood.
