The game was played in Smithville.The Hornets got off to a fast start in the opening period and ltd at the end 14-7. They built up thcii lead to 31 to 15 by halftime. Smithville began a comeback in the third period as they outscored the Hornets 11 to 5. The period ended with | Dearman Caldwell leading by ten, 36 to 26. The fourth period saw Cald well score 11 points to Smith-ville’s 10 to take the win 47 to 36.Jewel Dearman was the leading scorer for Caldwell with 15 points.
