George W. SteigerSPENCERVILLE — GeorgeWilliam Steiger, *2, of 404 E. Fifth St., Spencerville, died at 4 a.m. Monday in Lima Memorial Hospital.Bom Dec. 5, 1882, in AllenCounty, he was married Sept. 15, 1900. to Elsie Stose and she died May 28, 1957. He was a member of the SpencervilleGrange and United Church ofChrist and a retired bookkeeper.Surviving are two sons, Howard and William J. of Spencerville; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Perry of Spencerville and Mrs. Satnley Reed and Mrs. Vincent Wise, both erf Phoenix, Ariz.;seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the United Church of Christ, the Rev. Dana Welchofficiating Burial will be inSpencerville Cemetery. Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. today at the Leis Funeral Home. The body wU be removed to the church at noon Thursday.
