There have been three pinning ceremonies this week for new Brownie Troops in Bronxville. Members of Troop 24 received their pins from Mrs. Kenneth F. MacDonald at the West Cen ter Church, after which the girls presented a play on the origin of the Brownies for their moth ers. The troop’s leaders are Mrs. 3. C. Combes and Mrs. G. S. Little; Mrs. Robert Reach helped to serve the refreshments. ‘Troop 9 with leaders, Mrs. Gordon Duval, Mrs. Lon’ Keller and Mrs. J. A. Zalduondo, held their pinning party in the Girl Scout Cabin, followed by a play. ‘The third troop to receive Brownie pins was Troop 21 which met at School No. 8 where Mrs. MacDonald presented the pins. They also arranged a skit for the mothers. Troop leaders are Mrs. R.A. Emling,, Mrs. L. W. Clark and Mrs. Edward R. K. Flenche. Refreshments were erred by Mrs. Cosmo Fiore, as sisted by Mrs. Louis Pica and Mrs. Frederick McCormick. Mrs. Fiore and Mrs. Anthony G. Bot tari arranged flowers and decora tions for the event. A new Brownie trap met for the first time on Monday at the Reformed Church. Leaders are Mrs. Malcom Johnson, ‘Mrs. J. McCabe and Mrs. Robert Hol land. The following are mem bers of the new troop, Karen Baker, Erica Bachellé, June Bug gun, Julia Campbell, Patty Di row, Daphne Dodge, Marina Fabry, Joan Fuller, Linda Fit gerald, Holly Gill, Sarah Hol land, Molly Humphries, Betty Johnson, Judy Johnson, Seeny Lucke, Margaret Manning, Kath leen McCabe, Paula Neuhardt and Patricia Sayres. ‘The Chairmen of the mothers’ committees to help the leaders are Mrs. Donald Dodge, tele phone; Mrs. S. E. Fitzgerald, publicity; Mrs. G. A. Humphrie, transportation; Mrs. James A. Johnson, entertainment and Mrs. S. W. Manning, service. Invitations Sent For Holiday Ball ‘The Bronxville Holiday Ball Committee has issued invitations for a formal Christmas Dance to bbe held at the Siwanoy Country Club. on Wednesday, December with from 9 p.m. until 1 a. m. @ane'ng will be continuous. ‘All Bronxville boys and girls from the tenth grade through Sophomore year in college are included.
