Claude J. Green of Pas-•agou a from the Army Ait Corps.The announcement has com* hrough this week though Sgt Grern was discharged three weeks ago following the sudden ieath of his father John GreenThe young airman entered tinarmy Sept 9, 1941 and served with the 53rd fighter group overseas for II months, with thi rating of crew chief. Previous U fcmng to Europe, he served in the Canal Zone for many monthsHe wears the American Defense. American Theater and the ETO ribbons and the Good Con duet Medal.Since returning to the Stati Mr Green has been with Seconc Transport group which flies the Crescent Caravan route from| Wilmington to Paris. France.Following his student days at Our Ladv of Victories school in Pascagoula, Mr. Green worked at the Southern Kraft mill at Kreole.
