He found him aboutone o’clock in the morning quietly sleeping before a good fire in a woodland near the Jackson County line, and turned him over to Jailer Ross at Lancaster. Moberly bad been arrested on this charge a few days previously and landed iu the jail at Lancaster, and bad made his *scap« by removing about one hundred brick from under a window ofpeaceobligfortuSu:tries as beanywfinecdatemen,wo miiththe jail, leaving an opening that a two hundred pound man could have easily gone thru.
