THOMPSON—At her hom* in Albert Lea Saturday evening* Nov. 2tf, lbf8, Mrs. Frauk Thomp-sou, of quinsy.The deceased has been 111 for several weeks, notwithstanding, however, her death was a severe shock to her husband and many friends, Mrs. Thompson was 3z years of age; she was married twice, her first husbaDd oeing Mr. Bucknell, a harnessmaker, who lost his life by drowning iu Fountain lake six years ago, about the very time of Mrs. Thompson’s death. Two children were the Iruit of the union, both of whom survive their parents. Two years later she was married to Frank Thompson, who survives her. Two children were born to them, the youngest being a babe eighteen months old; all four of the children are greatly in need of a mother’s love and devotion, and will sadly miss the one who has just joined the silent majority.Mrs. Thompson was a true Christian woman, a friend to everyone, and one who to know was to love and admire. She was of a pleasing, kindly disposition, and her death is mourned bv a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She was always found ready to assist in auy charitable movement to assist the needy or sufferiug, and many homes have been brightened by acts of kindness that could be traced to her. Her Her death is sincerely mourned wherever she is known.The funeral occurred yesterday afternoon at l :3o o’clock from the house, the services proper being conducted at the Presbyterian church a half hour later. The remains were followed to 5 their final resting place by a great many sorrowing friends and acquaintances.
