MONSON ON TRIAL, Epinsura, Nov. 25—In the sher iffa court today Alfred Monson, charged with trying to drown Lieu tenant Windsor at Hambrough, in Ardlamont bay, Aug. 6, and with murdering him in the woods on the following day by shooting, was placed on trial. Monson pleaded not guilty and the trial was set down for Dac, 12.
