Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bahde were their daughters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Bailey, Teresa and Donna, of Alta and Mr. and Mrs. John Schulz, Perry and John. Saturday evening supper guests of the Bahdes were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tanke.Cecil Baughman was a dinner guest Thanksgiving Day in the home of his son, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Baughman, in Laurens.Guests Wednesday night and Thanksgiving Day of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Bentley were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Maury Scherb of Algona. Afternoon callers Thursday were Mrs. Bentley’s nephew and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holmes, of Denver. Colo.Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bjorklund were their children and families* Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bjorklund of Brookings, S. Dak., Alice Bjorklund of Columbus, Neb., who came Thursday, and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Lubbers, Michele and Maureen, of Schleswig. Saturday the same group were dinner guests in the Barsness home. The birthday ^ anniversary of Mrs. Johnson was observed. The Johnsons and Ander- ?sons returned to Independence late ^Saturday and the Johnsons return- ^ed here Sunday. ^Mr. and Mrs. Phil Dukes, Lynda, Juliann and Jennifer were guests ^Thanksgiving Day in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Taylor, at Diagonal. Mrs. Cox took Mrs. Agler and Mrs. Hartman to Fort Dodge Saturday afternoon, visiting enroute with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Junkermeier of Branson. Mo. who are staying in the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Errol Junkermeier at Gilbert. Charles Agler met the ladies in Fort Dodge.Mr. and Mrs. Russell Stevens left Monday with their mobile home for Mesa, Ariz., where they will spend the winter months.Enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Verlin Fredricks were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Fairchild of Sioux Rapids, Ron Fairchild of LeMars, Mr. and Mrs. James Harmsen and Jennifer of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Fredricks, Shelley, Scott and Steven, of Jackson, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Fredricks.
