YOAKUM HERALD-TTMES,6 ' • .Thanksgiving PartyA most enjoyable Thanksgiving party — Scavenger Hunt was enjoyed by the Baldwin Business College Student Club on Tuesday evening, November 22.Everyone left the college at 7:00 p.m. and had to return to the college in two hours with 20 items.Many people in Yoakum, probably thought it was Halloweenall over again with so many teenagers knocking on their doors, but they were kind e-nough to help in any way they could.After the items were checked off, the winners were announced as follows: Carlwyn Lowe and Blaise Janak from the night school classes and Colleen Kaiser and Kaye Kuempel from day school.Soon after, refreshments of delicious cake, potato chips and soda water were served.So ends another successfulBaldwin party.Students are now registering for the Winter Term which c-Dens Januarv 1001oakurrf, Texa* — Page THREEPre-Nuptial Party Honors Miss ShortAmong the pre-nuptial parties which have honored Miss Carol Short, bride-elect of Robert Fawcett, was the coffee party given for Carol and her fellow employees by Messrs. and Mes-dames E. R. Elkins, Wm. Browning and W. T. Browning.The group assembled after the closing hour and enjoyed hotcoffee, cookies and tidbits.
