JOE GERAGHTY RITES AT MONONA SATURDAYmServices for Joe Geragthy wereheld Saturday morning in St.Patrick’s church, Monona, withthe Rev. John Peters officiating.Burial was at Monona.lt;#He died Wednesday, November 21, in the Veterans’ Hospital at Iowa City where he had been a patient for four weeks.He was bom on Pleasant Ridge, a son of John and Ann Geraghty on December 22, 1887. He farmed on the hopie farm until 1945 | when he moved to Monona.j Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Don (Patricia) PeveriU of Waterloo, two sons. Emmett and Roger, both in the U. S. Navy, and three brothers, Ed., John and Tom, allof McGregor. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago.He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion.
