Continuing the crusade ‘against liquor ,law violations city police and ciry agents last night raided Pat Duffy's place on North Fourth street where they found a quan tity of liquor and arrested Duffy as the ‘proprietor. He was jailed ‘awaiting trial before Mayor Frank Hawkins, Patrolmen Roe and ‘Smith and Dry Agents Wilson and [Boyehan made the arrest, having little difficulty gaining entrance s to the place. Later in the evening the ‘same officers arrested’ Andy Toto, South Sixth street on a charge of possessing. ‘Toto was false’ jailed, ‘i Three local violators caught in the cleanup were’ assessed fines ‘totalling $1300 in police court late Friday..Sadie Cook, arrested as the proprietor of the Roma restaurant, South Sixth street where raiders found a water cool er partly full of equor yesterday was fined $600 and costs. Jim Mickey, arrested when officers ‘raided Frank Biggio's place on S. Sixth street and found Mickey in charge was fined ‘$500 and coats.
