It is with sadness we announce the death of Martin Knutson on Saturday November 24, 1900. His death was caused by accidental Minting. He and a few companion a w-pa riding borne in a sleigh after being out;. banting* and falling backward from the sleigh he pulled the gun * ^ith him. The hammer%of the goo oaogbt on the sleigh hot in sbme way, causing it to explode. He received the full charge in the right side, causing almost io-stantdeath, passing away before medical aid could reach him. Martin Knutson was the sou of Mr. and Mrs, Ole Knutson. He was about twenty-two years old. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon and the remains were laid at rest tn Allensburg cerae-tary, Rev. Gregeraon preached the funeral sermon.
