Mr. mod Mrs. Bergen Dean are shown at the party recently held to honor him on his retirement horn International Paper Company. Mr. Dean, who was a warden on his retirement Nov. 15, began his employment with Long-Bell Lumber Company Jan. 25, 1953, as a timber spotter. When International Paper Company and Long-Bell Lumber Company merged in 1957, he was retained as a permanent laborer. In November 1957 he was promoted to assistant warden in the Hillister Unit of the Woodville DistrictIand in July 1960 was made warden and served in that capacityuntil he retired.Cake and* coffee was served at hit retirement party, and a reclining chair was presented to him by James G. Parks, unit for-mtm, at a gift from his fellqw employees.
