■Wedding: Bells,.One of the most interesting social events of the season took place at Christ church ou Wednesday, Hoy. 25,' at 12 o’clock, noon; when Mr. T. K. Ijong, of Mandan, Dakota and .Miss Kate Carson, daughter of Hon. Wm. Carson, of this city, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. Eev. R. H. Weller, rector, performed the ceremony, using the beautiful and impressive service of his church. The chabcel was beautifully decorated with flowers and plants. The groom was attended by his friend, Mr. Allen,, of Mandan. The fair bride, richly but tastefully arrayed, entered the church leaning on the arm of her father, attended by a quartet of little girla bearing flowers. Mr. F. Mellon, of Bis mark, and Mes-srs. H. R. Metcalf, W. G. Balcom and C. W. Lockwood acted as ushers. Miss Augusta Kidder sat at the organ playing in a soft key during the service, closing with the wedding march. The church was well filled with the friends of the contracting parties. Quite a number of guests came fr^jKn md j st. Paul, Menomonie, Eau Galle, Burlington and other cities to jwitness the happy eyent. The bride was the re-Icipient of numerous costly! and appropriate presents. The newly wedded pair left on the evening train for an extended eastern trip.
