Jnat on the east aide of it an immense atone archway ia being constructed over a stream of water that Uowb down in the direction of the station grounds, and it looks as though the storms of a century could not make any impreseiou on it The gat*-lodge on the west aide of this bridge ia being built of stone taken from the mountain* iu its immediate vicinity, and ita walls would withstand the charge of a heavy battery directed against it. It is 17x21 feet on the foundation and 3ft feet high, its design being decidedly English and pretty. The road from the gate lodge to the lake is to be well made and carefully graded, the heaviest grade being not more than seven feet to the mile. The lake is 11 miles distant, and the drive there amid beautiful mountain scenery, with rocky cliffs and wood crowned hilltops on either side, will be a charming one in summer. Truxedo Lake is n pretty sheet of water covering about 3(H) acres. It ia nearly two miles long and varies in width. Its waters are clear and transparent, affording a flue retreat for the mem bora of the finny tribe which abound there so numerously. On one side of this lake the club-house in to be built, and when completed it will surpass. wc venture to say, anything of the kind, for the same purpose, iu the United States, It will be a magnificent structure, haudtomely designed, elegantly furnished,
