Workmen in largo numbers, in charge of competent superiuteudentH, are now busy upon the laud, and a won* derfnl change lias already been wrought at and near tho a tat ion at Lorillord’a and upon the region round about Trnxedo Lake. Tho ground ia being graded, hills are being cut away, and largo excavation* have already been made for buildings. Large quantities of lumber are upon the ground, and preparations hare been made for carrying ont the project to its perfect end. The park will be a new departure for this country, and we have no doubt that thousands of people will annually come many mites to visit the attractive grounds.On Saturday lost a representative of the Journal took a trip to the proposed resort, and had an opportunity of learning more fully than had been publicly announced the plans to be carried out in completing the park, lie met Mr. JoainbPatterson, who has been in Mr. Loril-lard’s service for more than 85 years, and who ia the general superintendent of the grounds. Mr. P. was cordial in his greeting and gave full and satisfactory details of the work in progress and that to be done in the future. The park, hesaid, will embrace about 6,000 acres,^ _ -m m ■
