Term, 1873, of the Superior Court, as taken from the Minnies. -E. J. Moroe, Clerk.We, the-Graed Jurors, chosen and swornfor lb? November Term, 1873. Superior Court of Qmtown county, beg leave to submit the following General Puseutmeuts Through appropriate Committee we have carefully £*a^;ned the varioi^ri cords Ibe county. .1* **7^The Ordinary?s Books are Tt-ty neatly and correctly kept. The Books of the Clerk of Superior Court we find very neatly und correctly kept, reflect?ng ranch credit upon that officer. Treasurer’s. Justices of the Peace. Notaries Pablic. and the ’general reports we find correct and satisfactorily k pi.The Court Huuse we And in good order except three window ,sills, and the sU p« truoiiug tbe jail, all of which ate decayed and need repairing, aud fom posts around the Coart House yard are frit ten a.id n««*d repairs. We call the proper utieotinn of the authorities to- the same. Also, that more seats tie furnished the Court room, ios the accommodation and convenience o# the poiv-jifc. The Jail we find neatly kept, bnt ?n an unsafe eouditioa, and call the atteofon of the County Commissioners to the same in orderthat it may be attended to at an early day.The Public Roads and Bridges throughout the county we find in good condition.The operations of the Board of Comma-J'v 0sioners of Roads aud Revenues, so far os they have gone, we regard as prudent, economical and satisfactory.We recommend that the Clerk of the . C. be allowed $’l per day for extra services, and 10 cents for each Juror certificate for the present term of Court.We have made out a list of names of alj the persons in the county who we deem entitled to a support from the county lunds, as county poor, and recommend that the Coun. ty Commissioners distribute all the money appropriated for that purpose, among them according to their several circumstances and neceasUies,#^. — , # ^ .We further recoraraeDd that all cases that are not tried by this Superior Court, November Term,,1873s that come under the jurisdiction of Just ice Criminal Court. I*- disposed of by said Justice, as required by an act of 1872, which will save the county a great ex-peo rev * 'OfWe recommend that the Bailiffs be phid $2 per day for tbeir cervices for tbe present terra of Court.Believing that upon tbe faithful execution of the luttk depend, to a great extent, the peace, good order, morals aud prosperity of the county, we earnestly recommend that the various county officers, from Sheriff to Constables, to be zealous und uufiiucbiag inthe discharge of their duties.lu taking leave of his Honor.
