Renark able Preaeut latent.In the last Doyicstowit Democrat we find »notice of the death of Beniah Holdren, of Nock*amixon, al the advanced age of 94 rears. Hedied on the 14th of October; and the correspondent uf the Democrat stales that on the Saturday previous to his death, his daughter, with1other friends, paid a visit to the old people;found them in good health, and passed a veryagreeable everting and morning. The old gentleman was sensible, agreeable, talkative andhappy, and partook of a hearty breakfast; afterwhich he observed—“ Now my friends, this itthe last meal I shall ever eat ; I am about to die.'’ It was in vain that his friends endeavored to dissuade him from such an idea—bethe more resolutely persisted in it, and said bewas called and must obey; but while he yet hadbreath and the power of speech, he wished togive some instructions with respect to hit worldly concerns, his burial, lt;fcc., and immediatelycommenced.
