Halliday was followed to his last resting place yesterday afternoon at Point Arena by a large number of sorrowing friends. Supervisor Halliday was stricken with a heart attack while attending a meeting of the board of supervisors here October 8 and, since that time, continued ill and has been in an Oakland Hospital most of the time.*Known Widely—Was Popular.Supervisor Halliday, for years had been prominent in civic and political affairs of the county. He was serving his first term as supervisor from the southcoast.Born At Point Arena.*■Born in Point Arena in 1883, Mr. Halliday was interested in various businesses there during* his lifetime. He w,as a member of the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors at the time of his death. Supervisor Halliday was taken to an Oakland hospital six weeks ago for treatment of a heart attack. He died of that ailment Sunday.His Many Relatives.Survivors are his mother, Kate, his wife, Bessie, eight children, four sisters and four brothers, He was the father of Mrs. Clara Crispin, Mrs. Grace McMillan, Mrs. Gertrude Farnsworth, Mrs. Della Luzzi and Margaret, Rex, George and Joseph Halliday, His [sisters are Mrs. George P.
