DIsriUCT COUHT.Only a few cases were disposed of in district court tins week. The court convened Monday hut as there were no jury cfues ready an adjournment was taken to Tuesday morning. When court convened Tuesday morning and there were at ill no jury oases ready, Judge Stull excused the jury until Monday morning.Several motions were then argued and a little legal skirmishing in several cases indulged in hy lawyers.Mrs, Mattie L. Smith, of this city, was planted a divorce and custody of I her minor children from her truant husband, Thomas J. Smith.In the cane of II. J, Huama vs. P. II. Freytag, J. II. Kuhlmunu and John Kivrichs, petition on prorrimicry note, jury was waived and trial was had to the court. Alter hearing the evidence in the case the judge decided in favor of plaintiff, Harms, and against do. fendants Frey tag and Kuhlmann, in tne 8(1 tn of #1,029.
