Smith, of this city, was pranted a divorce and custody ol her minor children from her truant husband, Thomas J. Smith.In the cane of II. J, IMams vs. P. II. Prey tag, J. II, Kuhlmann and John Kivrichs, petition on promissory note, jury was waived and trial was had to the court. Alter hearing the evidence in the case the judge decided in favorof plaintiff, llarms, and against do. fendants Frey tag and Kuhlmann, intne sum of 81,029. Ha also found infavor of defendant Freriche, law of limitation having exyired.The case of sain* plaintiff against P. II. Pi eying, I). Oesimanii and Fred schlange, upon another note, then went to trial and was c oncluded Tuesday evening. Judge Stull took it un dar advisement and will render a decision before the court adjourns,Kemp ( olerick, tor shooting Habe Klliott at Nemaha City several months ago, was arraigned Tuesday morning and plead not guilty .
