Death ol Hon. John P* H«lo.Dover, N.H., November 13.—Hon, John P. Hale died at 9 o’clock this evening.[John Parker Hale was born at Rochester, New Hampshire, March 33, 1801. He entered Bowdoin College in 1822, whence he graduated with honors in 1827, and was called to the bar in 1830. He was elected to the Legislature, on the democratic ticket, in 132. Having in 1843 been elected to Congress by the Democrats, he astounded his party by voting with the opponents of slavery in the debates on that subject. In 1846 lie became Speaker or the New Hampshire House of Representatives, and was elected to the United States Senate in 1847. In 1852 the Free Soil _ party nominated him far the Presidency against Pierce and Scott, and lie obtained 167,685 votes. He was returned to the Senate in 1858 for the full term of six years, from March, 1859. In 1865 ho was appointed Minister to Spain, but resigned on account of ill-health in 1869.]
