Council Sued By Treasurer And AuditorJ*By KAY LAWRENCEAIKEN -- A suit has been filed by the county treasurer and auditor against Aiken County Council, charging the panel with failing to provide funds for adequate personnel and equipment to enable them to fulfill their duties as prescribed in the state statutes.The suit was filed in the Aiken County Courthouse Monday bv Treasurer Margie Plunkett and Auditor George Williams through their attorney, Joseph C. Coleman of Columbia.No figure is given as to the amount sought.
