Sr. LucretiaADRIAN — Sr. Mary Lucretia, the former Margaret Bernadette Maher, died at Bixby Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the age of 90.She was in her 66th year of religious profession as a member of the Adrian Dominican Congregation and had been a resident of Maria Health Care Center since 1968.Sr. Lucretia spent over 50 years in the teaching profession in the mid-western states. She was the teacher of business education at St. Joseph Academy and St. Mary's School in Adrian. In addition she taught at several other schools: St. Clair, Maybee, Dearborn, Owosso, Munising, and Hudson. Ml; St. Cnarles,Chicago, and Rockford, IL; and St. Mary in Defiance, Ohio.Two sisters, Julia and Frances Maher of Detroit, and two brothers, James of Carsonville, Ml and Ferdinand of Pennsylvania survive Sr. Lucretia.The wake and Bible Vigil took place at the motherhouse Nov. 18. Rev. Eugene Fox of St. John the Baptist Church, Hub-bardston, Ml was the main celebrant at the Mass of Resurrection in Holy Rosary Chapel on Friday; the ^chaplains from the motherhouse and the college concelebrated with Fr. Fox.Burial was in the Congregation Cemetery.
