HRANKLIN Homer J. Windsey, 83, of 1 Dale Ave, a retired employe of the Joy Manufacturing Co., died at 1:30 am ‘Tuesday in Grandview Extendicare following an ex tended illness. A Welong resident of this area, he was born in Venango County October 14, 1892,a son of Philetus Raymond and Rheuhamie Swalzler Lindsey. He retired from Joy Manufacturing in 1957. He and the former Florence EB i McCartney were married agust 3, 1916. She survives. Also surviving are three children, Avard, C. Merle and Clarence Lindsey of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smiley and Mrs. Naomi Shanaman of Parma, Ohio, a brother, Lewis Lindsey of Hialeah, Fla; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Three sons, Lewis, Ralph and Clair Lindsey, and three brothers, Walter, Isaac and Jay Lindsey, are deceased. Friends are being received today at the Burger-Gardinier Funeral Home.
