Auxiliary Helps Retarded Drive*Members of the American Legion Third District who canvassed their neighborhood for the Retarded Children’s drive, re-ported a large donation for the second week of November.Under the combined efforts of Mrs. Clarence Kates. 8857 S. Emerald ave., and Mrs. Charles MeConoiogue, 7818 S. Kimbarkave., community service chairman, others participating in the drive were: Mrs. Henry Crivilare, 2644 S. Wells St.: Mrs. A. G. Dahlstrom, 7956 S. Ellis ave.; Mrs. Joseph King, 7642 S. Morgan st.; Mrs. Walter Leamon, 8212 S. Drexel ave.; and Mrs. Elmer Stephen, 9047 S. May st.The area covered was from 87th st. to 90th pi. and Halsted st. to Eggleston ave. Although November 16 was designated as “Collection Sunday.” the drive will continue until November 26.
