Melvin Terry, Scoutmaster of National Boy Scout Jamboree No. 1, said today that 15 boys from the South Canyon dis trict which comprises Troop No. 1 have signed up. The troop will be limited to 35 boys. The jamboree will be held in Southern California in July of 1953, Nampa Scouts who have signed to make the win are Leon Drake, Richard Davies, Clark Bevington, Roger Bacon, Lee Hales, Noel Hales, Jerome Saltzer, Fred D. Young, Ronald Pipkin, Fred Deal, Bill DeVorss, George Covert and Donald Pankratz Two Kuna Scouts, Carl Thorn ton and Joel Thornton, will also be in the troop.
