J. M. Philpott Dead, Old Resident HereJ. M. Philpott, 104 West Clark street, who suffered a heart attack on last Friday at the home of his son, Frank Philpott, died at 3 o’clock this morning at the Philpott home. He had been in very poor health the past year. Mr. Philpott was 83 years O’-d and was among the oldest residents of Creeton. His wife preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 1924.Funeral services will be held at 1o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Adventist church on North Oak street, and Elder Mr. Scriven of Nevada, la., will conduct the services. Burial will take place in the Morgan cemetery near Kent.
