,Tlae Horae Epizootrlt;The appearance of snow upon ourstreets this morning made the owner is of horse flesh look decidedly blue, but after awhile as the snow melted under the influence of the genial weather, th»ir fears .bated, and by ten o’clock large numbers of horses were to be seen bn the streets.We know that the requirements of trade and the necessities of some of the owners are trreat, yet we think it willof policy, nay, even of economy, to allow the poor animals a few more days oi rest during their oonvalesoence, and not hurry them prematurely into the shafts before they have sufficient strength to stand the wear and tear of work.
