At Cincinnati, lately he drew a draft, as is sup|oscd in favor of n house in that place, upon the Rank in this place. The draft was sent to Pittsburg; thence by tlio Fanners and Manufacturers Bank, to the Farmers and Mochanics Bnnk of liultimoro, thence to the Columbia Bridge company, and thence hither. It was drawn for 81050, but when it reached tho place of payment it was pro* tested, not on account of tho ilejMwiea having been withdrawn,lut on account of M r. Quail* tril, not, now or ut any time, huving had a cent of money in tho York Bunk.
