Saturday night after Revival services a fellowship was held with sandwiches, cokes, coffee and chips being served.Cottonwood Baptist Church NewsCottonwood Baptist Church has started November with a pres- ’ eutation by two of our Southern Baptist Missionaries. Phil and Judy Langley, from Rhodesia. They came to be with us on November 7th and shared many adventures of their work in r Rhodesia and also presented a slide program. They brought many articles along for us to look at and see a little more of Rhodesian culture. They have two sons. Anthony 6Vi and Jonathan age 2'A. On December 27th they will he returning to the mission field for another three year term. Their presentation just added more emphasis on our Lottie Moon Offering goal which is our Foreign Mission thrust for December. At our business meeting for Nov. we voted to have a goal of $200.00 which we feel we will reach with no problem and will probably exceed.On November i 1th we began our youth revival with Steve Lemke from Ft. Worth and Brad Allen from Stephenville. Our crowds were small but our spirit wasn’t. Our youth were faithful even through the snowy weather. On Saturday night we had a fellowship and all had a good time as usual. Jimmy Wells and Steve did a skit that they had done together in Alaska when they were summer missionaries to Alaska one summer. Sunday night, the last night of revival, a group called the “Sounds of Gospel” came our way andblessed our hearts through music.We did ha\ c out of town guest visit with us each night. Mrs. Louise Baker and daughter .Shari Baker. They cantc up Friday night and brought the snow with them front Lake Jackson. Texas. They stayed in the home of Rev. Darrvi Tlticbaud and family and everyone had a good time visiting. They did not know Dublin was as big as it is and fell in love with our town and promised to come back during the holidays if vacation time permits.By the time this is printed our Thanksgiving Dinner at church will be history because it will be November 24th. There isn't another gathering at church more precious than that of sitting down with your “Family in Christ and sharing God's goodness.Our Ladies Bible Study has been changed to Thursday morning's and will probably be held weekly at Mrs. Ethel Perkins home in town. We will let you know further about this if you are interested in joining us. We are doing a book study on “A Shepherd Looks at the 23rd Psalm” and find it very lifting.Our church is growing in the Lord and also with new members coming our way . Come see us and be part of this fellowship in the Lord.
