. nad Mrs. Velda Bun nell, 71, of 1504 W. 2nd St., Dixon, of Saturday morning in Dixon Public Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Allen-Buckley Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. LeRoy Weihe, visitation pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiat ing. Burial will be in Silent e Cemetery at McConnell. Friends may call at the Allen- Buckley Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Bonnell was born on April 10, 1901 in McConnell, NL, the daughter of Willard and Lena Olsen Hawley. She was united in marriage to Rollo Bunnell on Jan. 17, 1922. She had lived in Freeport for sev eral years before moving to Dixon in 1931 where she worked at the Dixon Public Hospital until her retirement in 1959. Mrs. Bunnell is survived by one son, Rollo of Dixon. She was preceded by a half-brother and a half-sister.
