The flag football leagues of the Lockport Township Park District have announced the results of the 1970 season. The Bantam Division was won by the Kelvin Grove Seals after they defeated the Dellwood Vikings in a close game 14 to 13. The Chaney Braves won the Junior Division title by beating the Richland Eagles in a hard fought game 6 to 0. In the Bantam division the American league champions were the Dellwood Vikings with the league's Most Valuable Player being Joe Klasich. The runner-up for the MVP award was David Steidel. The Continental league champs in the Bantam division were the Chaney Cowboys and Mike Panich was named Most Valuable Player in the league. Billy Naylor was the runner-up in MVP competition. The Bantam Division's American league champions were the Kelvin Grove Seals and Steve Carberry won the MVP, award with Jim Fender the runner-up in that competition. In Junior Division flag football the American league champs were the Chaney Braves with Mike Postel named the league’s Most Valuable Player, QUEEN SUE. Sue Manner, representing Bill Jacobs Chevrolet, was the Joliet Auto Show model receiving the most votes of show visitors. Announcing the outcome of the election Sunday night and awarding roses and prizes is Wm. Roth, Executive Vice President of National Bank of Joliet. Other candidates were Collette Amiot, Vidmar Buick, Carol Anderson, Super Chrysler; Karen Beutel, Beutel Motors; Laurie Cooper, Gregg Motor Sales; Diane Goodson, Jim Graham Olds; Tina Marie Kazmierczak, Fred Emrich Ford; Chris Peacock, Dixon Import; and Allyson Stec, Bert Adams Pontiac; and Lisa White, Ted Benson Dodge. LITTER OF 13. This 4-year old Brittener Spaniel named “Bucky's Coquette” is a little apprehensive about her big breed. Her mother was Canadian Champion and Grand Champion and the father of the litter is [inois Champion in this hunter dog breed. The proud owner is Herb M. Ritchey, 15249 Huntington Ct., Orland Park.
