Tho sudden death of Airs. .John lloy Campbell, formerly Miss Ella Hold nor of this city and of the class of 111 12. came as a shock to her re* lathes and friends In tliis city.Airs. Campbell graduated from the department of Home Economics of this Institution with ihe class of 1312- Shu began to teacli in the fail of the game year and was engaged at various times, in Halstad, Bemidji and Afclntosh, all in Minnesota,Her marriage to John Roy Campbell, well known at tills school thru' liis connections with the Better j Fanning Association, took place in June of this year. At the time of her death she was at her home jn Motl. wlch is Mr. Campbells headquarters as County Superintendent of tho Association,While at school Mrs. Campbell ; wag active in many lines, especially so in public speaking work, She wag an Athenian, member of the Y, W, C. A. winner of first and second places in two college declamatory contests and commencement orator for her class in her graduation year, She has a large number of friends at this city and wherever she lias taught. This was due to that spirit which was so aptly expressed in the 1912 Agassiz as,'•The warmth of genial- courtesy. Tlio calm of self-reliance”.She will be greatly missed by all who knew her well.
