Satisfactory to Silver Grove Fire Department. A test was made Saturday afternoon of the water pressure in the maine of the New Albany Water Works which have been extended into Silver Grove and the newly organized volunteer fire department of Silver Grove also tested their hose. The tests were very satis factory. Two loads of hose were at tached to one hydrant and streams were thrown to a height of seventy five feet, which is considerably higher than any building in the suburb. The Silver Grove fire department has received two hand reels each of which will carry five hundred feet of hose. The water worke has three fire hydranta at the most prominent corners in the town. The citizens have erected s reel hones and have been given the Privilege by the srastece of the Advent Obristian church to use ita belinj sound ing alarmins of fire.
