John Fitzgerald, the Fernie man committed to stand his trial by stipendiary magistrate Armstrong upon a charge of attempted murder, was brought to Nelson last evening by constable Henderson. Fitzgerald is charged with having used an axe on his man, but the victim of the assault is now out of danger.
